The Water-Learn it! Live it! Accreditation Program provides primary and secondary schools with the opportunity to be recognized for their commitment to water conservation.
By working through six simple milestones in each category, your school can become a Bronze, Silver or Gold 'Water – Learn it! Live it! School'. And, best of all, the program is completely FREE. Zilch, nil, nothing to pay!
Schools committed to the program receive a number of benefits, including:
Regular teacher professional development sessions – we even pay your CRT fees to learn and network.
Access to hard copies of the Water – Learn it! Live it! Education Resource containing dedicated primary and secondary activities, unit plans, VELS links, case studies and additional resources.
Water-saving merchandise for your school, including buckets that fit perfectly under bubbler taps, educational posters, stickers and more.
In-school presentations and activities for your students and staff.
Access to South East Water’s community investment program, including our Hydration Station for events (please note: you will still need to fulfill the set criteria).
Finally, we love to celebrate your school’s big achievement when you reach the Bronze, Silver and Gold levels! We will attend your school assembly to present your huge sign to put out the front of your school and we really like it when we get these moments in the newspaper for everyone to see.
