National Water Week occurs every year in October and is dedicated to raising awareness of water issues in Australia. This year National Water Week runs from October 21 to 27 with the theme ‘Valuing Our Water’.
The annual primary school poster competition is on again, with entries now open. Read the competition details and complete the entry form prior to submitting your poster. Entries close September 10, 2012. Details about additional events are still to come, so keep your eyes out for more information.
In 2011, South East Water ran the annual primary school poster competition, a secondary photojournalism competition and hosted a series of water fairs in schools. The lucky students whose posters were chosen as the best, had their posters created into a mural with the help of artist Tony Sowersby.
